We have conducted a number of research studies with impressive results. For example, studies of fifth graders’ comprehension of a narrative text illustrated significant results in favor of IMapBooks over traditional books. Further, college-age Chinese English Foreign Language Learners learned significantly more new vocabulary with IMapBooks than with traditional study methods. Additional research is going on in The Netherlands.   A National Science Foundation grant has been awarded to Dr. Smith and a team of colleagues at the University of South Florida in order to research how a topic as climate change for high-school students can be addressed.
